Flower crowns have been the accessory of choice on runways and blogs all year long. Making your own is super fun, simple, and cheap!
You’ll need: Silk flowers, floral tape, floral wire for wreaths, hot glue gun, pliers, and scissors.
Make a loop with the wire that fits comfortably on your head (or the person who’s going to wear the crown). Use your pliers to cut your wire to twice that length, Make a loop and then twist the leftover wire around the first loop so you have a twisted wreath. This will make sure you have a nice sturdy circlet that won’t lose its shape.
Cut your blossoms so that they have a little leftover stem; position the flower where you want it on your wire wreath. Use the floral tape to attach the stem securely to the wreath. Continue doing this until you’ve filled the wreath.
Use your hot glue gun to attach individual blossoms or leaves on any bare spots. Clean of any excess glue.
Your new flower crown will add whimsy and charm to your beautiful wedding!
