Now you can step out it shiny style with these SUPER simple DIY glitter booties. The perfect way to put your best foot forward without designer shoe prices!
You’ll need: Booties (ours are thrifted!), a foam brush, Modge Podge or spray adhesive, ( we used the Modge Podge), glitter, and newspaper to collect the glitter.
Step 1 | We started by mixing rose and gold glitter to get the perfect combination of the two. You can use any combination or single glitter that you like. Cover a section of the shoe with Modge Podge (or use spray adhesive if you’d rather try that one out).
Step 2 | Sprinkle liberally with glitter. Do the sprinkling of the glitter of some newspaper to keep the mess to a minimum.
Step 3 | Shake of excess glitter and use the newspaper to put the glitter back in your container so you don’t waste any. Then just repeat steps 1-3 until you’ve covered the whole shoe in glitter.
Step 4 | Let the shoes dry completely. You can seal in the glitter with a thin layer of Modge Podge if you don’t want to leave some sparkly dust in your tracks. Just make sure you let it dry before you wear your gorgeous new shoes!
